Stage One Youth is a multi-award winning amateur theatre group aimed at ages 14 - 21

Founded in 2010, Stage One Youth is an amateur youth theatre group in Maidenhead. The group comes together from March to September each year to produce a show to a professional standard, with the following aims:

  • To further the opportunity for local youth to perform outside of school or college

  • To provide an active feeder group for the many local adult-based groups and   encourage the local youth to advance into those groups

  • To provide local youth with access to the wide local experience in all aspects of theatre, from performing on stage, as part of an orchestra and in technical areas such as lighting, sound and staging.

  • To build confidence through performance and teamwork that will enhance the personal development of local youth.
